  1. Standard Competition Terms & Conditions

    How to enter

    Our website sometimes hosts online competitions for which entry requires you to supply personal details. The following are the standard terms and conditions which apply to our competitions. Please note that additional T&C’s may apply in specific circumstances. If so, they will be mentioned on the requisite competition page.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. Open to all entries from a 30km radius of The Arcade Leisure Park except those involved in the administration of the competition, employees, agents, and their employees, resident businesses of the scheme or family members of The Arcade, Bedford and its promotional partners.
    2. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
    3. Entrants must be 18 years or over.
    4. All entrants’ details may be used in promotional activity/materials and the winner(s) may be required to participate in promotional activity related to the competition.
    5. The competition is promoted by The Arcade, Bedford.
    6. Entry to the competition is deemed as full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of entry.
    7. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    8. The Arcade, Bedford reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equivalent value if the original is no longer available. The prize(s) cannot be exchanged or refunded and is/are non-transferable.
    9. The winner(s) will be notified by The Arcade, Bedford or their representatives through Facebook, by email or phone, as appropriate to the competition within 7 days of the competition closing date. They will then be announced via The Arcade social media channels. Alternatively, for details of the winner(s) name(s), please send a SAE to: Competitions, The Arcade, Bedford, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 1NS.
    10. Winners must respond to The Arcade, Bedford within 7 days of being notified of their prize, otherwise The Arcade, Bedford reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
    11. All prizes must be collected from or delivery arranged (as appropriate) with The Arcade within a further 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.
    12. You are providing your information to The Arcade, Bedford.
    13. Errors and omissions excepted.
    14. The competition(s) and these Terms and Conditions are subject to and governed by English law.

  2. Facebook Competition Terms & Conditions

    HOW TO ENTER

    Users are eligible to enter our Facebook competitions by liking and commenting on a specific post(s) displayed on The Arcade, Bedford Facebook page. Other competitions may require you to submit a form with further details in order to be eligible to win.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    1. The competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time; the prize(s) is/are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
    2. The competition is promoted by The Arcade, Bedford, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 1NS.
    3. No cash or alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
    4. Prizes may be provided by third parties. No travel costs or expenses used in collecting or using the prize(s) will be covered. The Promoter has no responsibility for onward use of the prize(s).
    5. The closing date is as specified in the specific competition, and The Arcade, Bedford reserves the right to amend the competition end dates at any time.
    6. By entering a Facebook competition, entrants acknowledge that their Facebook username, profile picture and any submitted content will be published on The Arcade, Bedford Facebook page and may be viewed by all web users. The competition winner(s) may be required to participate in promotional activity related to the competition.
    7. Entrants must be over 18 years old or as specified by the rules of each competition. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
    8. Entry is open to people living in a 30km radius of The Arcade, Bedford, except those involved in the administration of the competition, employees (and their families) of The Arcade, Bedford, agents, and any other companies associated with the competition. Entry to the competition is deemed as full acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
    9. All entries and any other material submitted become the sole property of The Arcade, Bedford.
    10. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Any content deemed inappropriate will be removed at their discretion. False and/or deceptive entries shall render entry ineligible.
    11. The winner(s) will be notified by The Arcade, Bedford or their representatives through Facebook, email or phone, as appropriate to the competition within 7 days of the competition closing date. Winners must respond to The Arcade within 7 days of being notified of their prize, otherwise The Arcade reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
    12. All prizes must be collected from or delivery arranged (as appropriate) with The Arcade, Bedford within a further 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.
    13. This competition and these Terms and Conditions are subject to and governed by English law.

    15. The competition isn't sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook in any way.

    The Arcade, Bedford and its affiliates are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error, technical malfunction, failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, access providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person, computer relating to or resulting from participation in this competition; inability to access the entry website or any pages thereof; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries; entry submissions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete, garbled, or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website. Proof of entering information on Facebook or other form is not considered proof of delivery or receipt.

Terms and Conditions – The Arcade kids’ club quarterly competitions

  1. The competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
  2. The competition is promoted by The Arcade Bedford. You are providing your information to The Arcade Bedford.
  3. No cash or alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
  4. The prize is provided by a third party. No travel costs or expenses incurred in collecting or using the prize will be covered. The promoter has no responsibility for the onward use of the prize.
  5. The closing date is as specified in the specific competition, and The Arcade Bedford reserves the right to amend the competition end dates at any time.
  6. Entry must be made by a person aged over 18 years, but the entrant needs to be aged 3-11 years and a member of the The Arcade Bedford kids’ club. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  7. Entry is open to The Arcade Bedford kids’ club members, with a valid membership number/ID, living in the Bedford postcode areas, except those involved in the administration of the competition, employees (and their families) of The Arcade Bedford, agents, and any other companies associated with the competition. Entry to the competition is deemed as full acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
  8. The winner may, with parental/guardian permission, be asked to participate in promotional activity related to the competition, including having their forename and photograph posted on the The Arcade Bedford kids’ club website members page and on their social media channels.
  9. All entries and any other material submitted become the sole property of The Arcade Bedford.
